Installing the magnetic receiver is so much easier with our large step-drill-bit.
With care, this drill-bit will work on metal, aluminum, fiberglass, glass fiber reinforced plastic (factory bumpers), and carbon fiber. A small pilot hole should be used to guide this bit. Some installations may not have the depth to accomodate a step drill and in those instances, your installer might consider a hole saw however the magnetic receiver with the connectors requires some depth so this drill-bit should work for nearly all installations.
As with all tools, proper safety precautions should be used.
